Nuuralhudaa is an internet-based media platform that delivers the latest Islamic and Ethiopian news, offering a rich array of content including weekly programs, videos, literature, lectures, nasheeds, and various Islamic programs. Our mission is to reach our audience with compelling evidence, imparting authentic Islamic knowledge to enlighten and educate.

Established in January 2016, Nuuralhudaa was founded by the dynamic team of Sumeyas and Bilals group. A group of experienced journalists, who had previously worked in different media outlets, joined forces in the same month to create a powerful and impactful media platform.

Nuuralhudaa Radio (RNH) marked its inaugural broadcast on January 16, 2016. The first program featured discussions by esteemed scholars such as Dr. Liwaul Islam, Sheik Ali Jimma, Sheik Muhammad Wado, and Abu Abdallah (Sheik Umar Gobena) on the significance of media. It was during this program that the name “Nuuralhudaa” was bestowed upon the media by these respected religious orators. Ustaz Abdurrahman Hussein (Xaalibu Ridallah) manages Nuuralhudaa, overseeing the operations with guidance from the media’s dedicated board.

While Nuuralhudaa began as a radio station, plans are in place to expand its offerings. Presently, we have launched our website and mobile application, providing valuable information to our audience. The primary focus of Nuuralhudaa is to educate the Muslim Ummah about the religion of Islam, dispelling misconceptions and promoting understanding. Additionally, we actively support the peaceful struggle of Ethiopian Muslims, working towards the goals for which Ethiopian Muslim committees have faced adversity.

Nuuralhudaa TV premiered its programs on November 8, 2018, extending its broadcast services to the Horn of Africa and the Middle East. We broadcast Islamic programs in Afan Oromo and Amharic, utilizing the platform to amplify the teachings of hundreds of Islamic scholars. Millions of Muslims use Nuuralhudaa TV as a source of both entertainment and knowledge, furthering our commitment to the dissemination of Islamic teachings and values.
